Our community has been through a lot over the last few years, and while many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

 

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are designed so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. 

​

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. As we respond to changes in these agencies' recommendations, you may see changes in our protocols, implemented to help protect our patients and staff.

 

For example:

• Our office may communicate with you prior to your appointment to ask some screening questions. If so, we may ask you those same questions again when you check in for your appointment. We may also take your temperature at the time of check-in.
   

• We have hand sanitizer available for use when you enter the office. Additional hand sanitizer is located at the reception desks and in the treatment rooms.
   

• Our waiting room no longer offers magazines, children’s toys, and other items that are difficult to clean and disinfect. 
   

• Appointments are managed to allow for social distancing among patients. We may ask you to come to your appointment alone to limit the number of people in the office and in the reception area.​
